Once you have booked an appointment through our booking system, our clinicians will conduct a review. Your booking will be held as pending until approved. We will contact you within 14 working days to inform you if you have been accepted for our service. If we believe another service would better suit your needs, we will provide you with that information and discuss the alternative options with you.

To Healthier Minds will process your psychiatric assessment within 14 working days. 

At Healthier Minds, we are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all our clients and staff. We do not tolerate any form of abuse, harassment, or inappropriate behavior. This includes verbal, physical, and written abuse. Any such behavior will result in immediate termination of services and may be reported to the appropriate authorities. We believe in maintaining a supportive and professional atmosphere to ensure the best possible care for everyone involved.

Healthier Minds is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate need of assistance, please visit your nearest A&E, call 999 or 111, or contact your GP.

Please be aware that our services are in high demand and therefore fill up quickly.

**Individual Sessions:**
– You will receive a full refund if we receive a cancellation request at least 7 working days before your scheduled appointment. After this period, a refund cannot be issued.
– Please ensure you set a reminder for your appointment to attend on time. If you are late, please inform us as we may not be able to extend your scheduled slot.
– If you book a session within 7 working days of the appointment date, a refund will not be possible. Please ensure you can attend prior to booking.

 

**Group Sessions:**
– Group sessions are booked in bulk, typically consisting of 4 sessions over 1 month.
– Please ensure you are able to attend all sessions, as failure to do so is not our responsibility, and a refund will not be issued.
– You can cancel your group session booking up to 2 weeks prior to the start date. After this period, a refund cannot be issued.
– Please arrive on time for all sessions and set reminders accordingly.

 

**Psychiatric Assessments:**
– Our psychiatric assessments are extensive and conducted by clinicians with many years of experience.
– If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the assessment, a refund will not be provided.
– We make recommendations based on our professional judgment and cannot accommodate diagnoses that we deem inappropriate or inconsistent with the individual’s presentation.
– If you believe you have omitted important information from your assessment, please inform us as soon as possible so that we can review it. We recommend making notes of key points to raise during the consultation to avoid this issue.
– The cancellation policy for psychiatric assessments requires notice of at least 7 working days prior to the appointment. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive a full refund. After this period, a refund cannot be issued.
